Influence of Isothermal Treatment Prior to Initial Quenching of Q&P Process on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Medium Mn Steel

چکیده

The influence of isothermal treatment prior to the initial quenching step Q&P process was investigated in 0.26C – 4.15Mn 1.39Si steel. Compared microstructure processed steel: a mixture martensite and retained austenite, subjected before (BQ&P) consists bainitic ferrite, austenite. Formation ferrite during refined austenite grain size made filmy morphology prevalent final microstructure. Besides, carbon effectively enriched into adjacent ferrite. change size, content enhanced mechanical stability BQ&P steel; it has beneficial on improving tensile elongation for given strength level. Moreover, controlling characteristics by is advantageous stretch-flangeability; hole expansion ratio evaluated be 22.2% steel, which 2.7 time higher than that conventional one.
